ASISTENT PERSOANA IN VARSTA

We are looking for a mature qualified person to look after an elderly person with Parkinsons.

Currently the patient is very mobile and is at the early stages of the disease.

Is able to walk around with our assistance.

Is able to shower but needs little help.

Is able to eat and use the toilet with no help.

Still able to work a little in his garden and is able to talk and have a conversation.

When he is on his medication is very good most days and does not require any help.

We expect all these functions to deteriorate as time goes by.

The patient lives in a large house with his wife in the countryside with spacious gardens.

The upstairs in the house is not used at all, this is where the candidate will reside as this is a live in position.

Duties:

Help patient out of bed each morning and dressing when required

Prepare all meals and administer the tablet medication on a daily basis.

Help the patient wash and shower twice per week and other general duties relating to the care of the patient.

Light laundry duties and general up keep of the house.

Candidate must have at least 3 year experience in homecare or nursing.

Benefit if the candidate has a driving licence, ( if so we would provide car, fuel and insurance )

Must supply references.

Candidate will have their own bedroom with private washroom.

All utility bills will be included, light and heat, internet broadband, TV, food, fuel, etc.

Car will be provided if candidate has licence, we will include fuel, insurance and all running costs.

We will cover the cost of trips home up to 3 times per year ( TBA )

Net Salary after this will be 2000 euro / month.

PERSON MUST HAVE GOOD ENGLISH
